Waller County Annual 4-H BBQ Fundraiser Coming Up

The annual fundraiser for the Waller County 4-H clubs is coming up.  The fundraiser is a BBQ with a live and silent auction.  The proceeds of the event go toward funding the activities of the various 4-H clubs in Waller County. Judging Team Competes at Montgomery County

On December 5th the Waller County 4H Horse Judging team attended the Montgomery County Horse Judging competition. The Junior team consisting of Sarah McFarlane, Ethan Jorn, Erin Stokes, and Alison McCurdy won three team awards for fourth place halter team, fifth place performance team, and fifth place overall team. Horse Club Volunteers for W.A.R.M.

On October 10, members of the club took time to volunteer for W.A.R.M. in Waller, Tx.  W.A.R.M. is a local non-profit dedicated to helping those less fortunate in our community with food and other essential needs. Judging Team Competes at Paint Youth World Show

The horse judging team competed at the Paint/Appaloosa Youth World Show judging contest held June 28 in Fort Worth.  This was a national contest with teams from as far away as New Jersey and Minnesota participating. Horse Judging Team wins District 9 contest

The club horse judging team competed this past weekend at the annual District 9 judging contest held in College Station.  The Intermediate team came away winning 1st overall.  We are very proud of our judging team! Horse Judging Team Members Place in Houston

The Horse Judging Team competed at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Horse Judging Contest on March 9.  The Junior Team placed 8th overall with Madyson winning a plaque for 18th overall junior competitor.  We had two individual senior competitors and Eli won a plaque for 18th in senior reasons.  Congratulations to Eli and Madyson

Horse Judging Team Competes at San Antonio

The Horse Judging Team competed at the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo on February 19.  The Junior team placed 13th overall and the Seniors placed 59th overall.  This is a great start for our judging team this year.  Congratulations!
